Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Scientist to join our growing In Vivo Biology team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in advancing our innovative pipeline of targeted radiotherapies designed to revolutionize cancer treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Expert in in vivo radioligand therapy studies
  • Support in vivo discipline lead on development and management of pre-clinical studies on lead and novel assets according to the company’s research strategy
  • Lead, design and execute research studies to address specific scientific questions
  • Ensuring data quality management
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative in developing innovative solutions to mitigate research challenges
  • Participates in oncology target identification and validation
  • Stay up to date with research trends relating to the company’s research interests to support technical development
  • Support preclinical/discovery team in building partnerships and relations with the scientific community and industry partners
  • Supervise and mentor junior scientists
  • Write and review reports and SOPs
  • Author scientific articles for publication in peer reviewed journals and relevant scientific conferences
  • Support writing of potential regulatory documentation and IND/IMPD related to pre-clinical studies covering RLT candidates selected for further clinical development

Qualifications & Education

  • PhD in biomedical sciences or other relevant area of research
  • At least 5 years work experience in research and development of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Extensive knowledge of tumor radiation biology and immuno-oncology
  • Proficient in handling rodents, dosing via IV, IP, SC, IM, PO, collecting blood by different methods, harvesting and processing tissue for ex-vivo assessment
  • Experience working with research animals (mice) with FELASA-C/CAREiN certificate or equivalent
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
