Summary

We are seeking a passionate Technician to join our In Vivo Biology team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our groundbreaking research efforts, contributing to the advancement of targeted radioligand therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in vivo experimental procedures including implantation, dosing, sample collection and processing
  • Cultivation of mammalian cells
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and implement experiments
  • Conduct laboratory experiments, following established protocols and ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Collect, record, and organize experimental documents and data in electronic lab notebooks
  • Data analysis using relevant software and statistical tools
  • Contribute to writing research animal use ethical applications, study reports and SOPs
  • Perform literature searches to support technical development of research
  • Participate in daily tasks and duties for organization of the laboratory
  • Maintenance and calibrations of laboratory equipment
  • Maintenance of laboratory inventory

Qualifications & Education

  • Master’s degree in biomedical sciences or other relevant area of research
  • Experience in in vivo and in vitro laboratory research
  • Experience working with research animals (mice) with FELASA-C/CAREiN certificate or equivalent
  • Experience with working with open radioactive sources (added advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
