The Opportunity

InduPro is seeking a highly motivated scientific leader to support pre-clinical program advancement from discovery to IND. This individual will play a key role in advancing immunology and oncology programs (bi-specific antibodies, ADC, TCE), contributing to the overall success of the drug development pipeline. This candidate will bring a deep understanding of immunology and oncology, coupled with a proven track record of successfully advancing preclinical programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross-functional collaboration and possess the strategic vision necessary to align scientific objectives with broader business goals.

Responsibilities Include

  • Lead and manage programs in the areas of immunology and oncology, from early research through preclinical development to IND submission. Note that this role may also require some percentage of time performing active lab work.
  • Apply expertise in cancer biology, immunology, and drug discovery to influence overall research strategy and project progression
  • Stay abreast of the latest scientific developments and trends in the field, integrating relevant advancements into program strategies
  • Provide leadership and strategic input to optimize the overall drug development pipeline
  • Foster strong collaborations with colleagues (cross-site and cross-functionally) to ensure alignment of biology strategies with overall company objectives
  • Author or contribute to pre-clinical study report sections, regulatory submissions and updates; and abstracts/manuscripts for publication
  • Present program updates and lead key decision-making discussion at senior company meetings

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in oncology, immunology or relevant scientific field with a well-documented background of scientific achievement, and 7+ years of biotech/ pharmaceutical drug discovery and development experience
  • Proven track record of leading pre-IND therapeutic programs
  • Experience developing biologics, ideally bi-specific antibodies and/or ADCs and TCEs
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional drug development processes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proven track record of successfully mentoring and developing the careers of direct reports
$180,000 - $240,000 a year
The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000 to $240,000. The final salary will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
